Can i return this back to american eagle or am i stuck with it?

I went to the mall yesterday and bought a new jacket from american eagle for 100 dollars. I work 3rd shift so i wore it from when i bought it to the end of work. it rained too and i went into the rain for about 30 seconds total just to get to and from my car. after work when i put it on, these mysterious orange stains showed up on the sleeves. they are splotchy stains just on the sleeves. I seriously do not know how these stains even showed up and i feel like i just wasted 100 dollars!
