Help my cat has fleas. tried front line plus, borax and washing cats with dish soap?

My dad used to have a lot of cats way back in the day. One day someone dropped off a couple cats they couldn't keep at his house and they had a lot of fleas. So they multiplied and soon enough all his cats had fleas. And he had like 15 pet cats lol. He says he found a eucalyptus tree and pulled off as many leaves as he could and arranged them all through his house. On the floors, under couch cushions, in the bed, in his clothes drawers, all the cat trees ... everywhere. He must have let the cats keep going outside so the fleas could get out and before he knew it, all the fleas were gone. They can't stand the smell of eucalyptus I guess. It worked for him with his major flea infestation so I'm sure it would work for you and your one kitty. Sure, you're gonna have leaves everywhere but that's easily cleaned. If you wanna try that you may have to do it again if there are eggs but I bet it will work for you. Good luck!
