Why do Atheists believe that the bible is full of lies?

It is no wonder that it is so difficult to believe the Bible today.There has been so many lies told in religion and their actions speak louder than words. They have been caught in prostitution and lies and filthy gestures and the list goes on and on .Nothing that Jesus would want to be a part of.They accept anyone in their church no matter what they do and never put anyone out who does wrongdoing. Then they criticize those who try to live right.Yes that point about babies I lost a child and there is no greater pain in this world.Why would a God of love put us through such agonizing misery it does not make sense. Hebrews 2:14
