Is the navy a good choice for me?

right now i am your average 17 year old kid, i am a senior in highschool, and i like to chill with friends and party abit. i did not plan for college and im afraid of what happens after highschool now. so im pretty sure that the navy sounds like a good plan, i will miss everybody and my home life but i am willing to go through with doing what im told and being away from my family and friends i know ill see everybody again. so i need a heads up, who is currently in the navy? hows pay? is boot camp lame should i prepare? hows vacation? are you likin it? i want some legit answers from actual navy seals and not a recruiter. ya and i know some people may disagree and say **** like "the navy is for people who love america and want to defend it with honor", and i support that but if that sounds like you than dont bother answering. if the navy is the right path for me, than i gotta do what i gotta do. soo get at me folks
