Did radiologic technology school pay off for you once you finished and started actually working ?

I thought I wanted to become an rt.. im in the introduction to radiologic technologist cl at el camino college.. and oh my gosh its confusing.. the director came and spoke to the cl about how much time consuming the program is gonna be once we get eccepted into it. 12 hour days consisting of clinical and cl.. and its gonna take like 3 or 4 years to complete the program.. tell me about your experience with this program and the affect it had on your life during the course of the program and how long did you go to school.
