Should i have a go at my bf becuase he didn't turn up?

my bf was supposed to come round to mine after he had watched the football match with his dad. i dont mind the fact that he is going to watch the matches because he doesn't get to see his dad too often so i think that is fair. anyways, he said he would call me after that match but it was a bit later cus they didn't get back till late. then he wrung me and he sed he's in pain cus his back is hurting and he's really tired and he doesn't know whether to come. do i start a mive argument with him and act upset cus im really upset or do i just calmy say i dont mind and end the fone call with a nice i love you. helppppp
